"I can't...keep this up.." Kyte falls to one knee. The hybrid swings to sword sideways towards Kyte. Kyte slowly ducks under the blade and stands up, staggering to keep his balance. He picks up his blade and rushes it into the hybrids chest, he falls to his knees, pulling the blade with him. Blood rushes out of the hybrid along with dark figures that seemed to be it's organs. Raven and Rose rush out of the room and head over to Kyte's side.
"Kyte." Raven puts her hand on his shoulder. "Are you alive..?"
"I'm fine." Kyte moves his head to show his tired face to Raven.
"You're an idiot you know that." Rose said.
"Hey I'm alive and we're safe right?" Kyte said. Kyte slowly sits up to his knees and looks at Raven, his face is covered with dust and blood.
"We should move." Kyte said. He staggers to his feet and Raven and Rose but there arms around him helping him stable himself. They walk slowly out of the library to a room where they sit down and let Kyte rest. A couple hours later Kyte finally wakes up and looks around; Raven is asleep next to him and Rose is by the door looking through the window. Kyte slowly sits up trying not to wake Raven and looks at Rose.
"Rose how long was I out for?" Kyte whispered.
"Couple hours." She replies.
"And Rave?" Kyte stands up.
"The same so far." Rose looks at him.
"Alright we should move as soon as she wakes." Kyte looks down at Raven.
"Ok." Rose looks around.
"Whats wrong?" Kyte asked.
"Ian.." Rose looked out the window.
"I'm sorry.." Kyte said softly.
"It's ok you tried to defend him." A small smile came across Rose's face.
"With all I had." Kyte said.
"Huh?" Raven said still half asleep.
"Nothing." Kyte walked over to her.
"Lets move." Rose said.
"Ok." Raven was confused.
